{Valentine's Blog Hop ~ Rose Cards}

I was busy making supper last night and in the midst of cooking I had a moment of creative genius! I have to admit I have not made a card in about 3 months...shame on me...(I used last years Christmas card surplus...lol!)

After a quick clean up and kids in the bath and off to bed ?I came down to my craft room and set off to work.
I wanted to make some great Kraft cards and wanted them to be super simple. I find that I do best with cards if I either go all out or I keep it simple!

I kept it to a two tone card with the Kraft base. I used tulip ink for the flowers and I used desert sand for the border stamped on the inside with a simple black statement.

Now I don't want to give away too much but can you guess what stamps were used to create this card?

Inspiration Speaks!

I made my New Years Resolution to live inspired this year and I have been inspired today! I have been looking around on the web and came across a blog that really spoke to me today. I happened upon this blog by chance and believe that inspiration speaks!

As a Blogger I get emails regularly, but here and there I get emails that are very touching to me or speak to me. This one is ONE OF THEM. Beverly from Brownies to Rwanda emailed me. She told me how she found my blog and that she loved so many things, and was going to start with  my crock pot creamy chicken noodle soup. Beverly went on to ask me if I would be interested in hosting a giveaway?

 I was inspired from then on....I read a little story of a family wanting to adopt a little girl if that should happen from Rwanda. They design custom jewelry and donate money to Rwanda and the orphans there. I don't read many stories that truly touch a person but you can feel the love this family has from the story they tell.

Live INSPIRED in 2012

It is officially 2012 and it is going to be the year I live inspired! I have so many great plans for 2012. I am starting a monthly club which I would like to allow all readers to participate in. I have a couple great trade shows I will be taking my CTMH business to and sharing my passion for crafting with others in 2012

I started to participate in a monthly Sketchy Challenge with Canadian Scrapbooker. I will participate each month and blog about each submission. I also have a business ad in the magazine too. I came up with a great idea for my next ad in the upcoming issue...mention the ad and get a discount....{see truly inspired!}

I plan on participating in Heart 2 Heart Challenges. If not each week then definitely once every 2 weeks I will participate in a challenge. Heart 2 Heart Challenges is a community and blog with a design team and others who participate in challenges using CTMH products! Getting ready to craft!

Now a few days ago I mentioned that I had a surprise that would be announced today...
Well, when I get to 50 followed {Spread the word} I will be giving away a great A-sized stamp set from the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book to one lucky follower. I will do another surprise giveaway for reaching 100 followers, 250, and for 500 followers I will have a GREAT SURPRISE giveaway!!!
