{Pinterest Easter Sign}

After quite the hiatus, I have now finished with the What Women Want trade show I attended on the weekend of March 16 - 18. I had a fabulous time and met so many great people. I saw some great inspiration for future trade shows and am looking forward to all the fabulous weekends of dance to come...

I find that I love my iPhone and all the great apps I have found...one of those in my top 5, Pinterest!
I love to see all the awesome items people have pinned and created. I recently saw one that I just had to try to recreate...

I follow several blogs and enjoy seeing all the great and usually entertaining blog post...one blog that I find to be highly entertaining with a heap of inspiration is Craft-o-maniac. This is one of my favorite sites with a lot of variety presented to the follower...Should you go over to take a peek...tell her I sent you to say Hi!

Now there was an awesome Easter sign that she created and I wanted to create it without flat out copying it...now my wording is the same and I just used different techniques to pull off the finished product..

Below are the pictures of my version. I hope that you enjoy and if you decide to create one of these awesome signs, link back to us and definitely stop by to tell me so I can check it out.

{Peep Wreath}

In the spirit of Easter and spring fever...I decided to create new decor for my door. I love the idea of wreaths and I love the look of the little Peep Bunnies...although I don't eat them I do love the look of them...

I decided to try my hand at creating a little wreath for my door using the edible bunnies with hopes that no one gets any funny ideas to sample a bunny...lol!

I started with painting the mini mdf wreath with a pink acrylic paint. I coated it twice but perhaps if I had primed it first I would have achieved a brighter base color...

Once I had the paint dry I got out my hot glue gun and heated it up. Grabbed a package of the marshmallow goodness people speak of and prepared to attach the little bunnies to the wreath...

After I had finished placing the last bunny onto the wreath I looked and noticed that I had not considered where I would place a ribbon or how this wreath was going to hang...hind sight being 20/20...I would have placed a ribbon on BEFORE attaching the bunnies...lol!

I decided to attach a little green ribbon and slide a ribbon slide onto the ribbon to keep the ribbon together and allow for a place to put a bow...

After some delicate gluing and some drying time...
...Here is my finished and placed project...

Hope you enjoyed!
